Kool G Rap

So I spent the greater part of my weekend ripping some of 90's Hip hop from Vinyl to MP3....realized I mos def slept on way too many gems that should be in my Serato...this brings me to this Vinyl Reanimator remix of Kool G Raps "Fast Life", which as far as I am concerned is top 5 best a remixes of the 90's...I say this for many reasons..first it improves on the as far as I can remember a not so remarkable original, which is one of the main qualifications for a remix even to happen, 2.)the loop is murder,3.)DJ Shames cuts in the hook are just bananas,4.)Kool G Rap is top 3 best rappers of all time..oh and it was made by a few friends of mine, but that has nothing to do with it. At the time, my man Madsol had played us a dat, yes dat, and I was floored...so here ya go, hope you enjoy, threw in a few other Vinyl Reanimator remixes as well...

Bored.....

Played Saint last night, big shout to the homie G Squared for the hook up..had a pretty good time considering I had some D Bag rocking the Justin Timberlake Sweater/Loose Tie with 5' Oclock shadow H&M look, 'Boo' me when I lowered the music so the party in the back table could sing Happy Birthday, keep in mind they also rented out the room....anyway check out Beyonder tonight at Wonder bar, where I am sure that same D Bag will be in full effect...here's a lil something we made before heading out, pretty dj friendly, Beyonder came though with the last minute dopenesss...

"That Soundtrack with the Eye Ball on it"

...that is what I often called the Les Gants Soundtrack...Now I am not sure if this annoys me cause I am one of the 3 people I know who owns this record, or cause I didn't come up with the idea first....well, not sure how that would pan out, I am not in the repressing/boot business, so take from that what you want..but for real, if you know me, you know I am an avid Library/Soundtrack junkie, so seeing boots of KPM Afro Rock, Big Beat, like actually copies, not 'Best of..' type reissues, it becomes a little disheartening, but then again, why should I hate...so with that, here is a beat I made a few years back out of a song from this record...ahh the days...
