Soooo...the CHAMP 12" is finally out, you can cop it at most of your fine Vinyl retailers, particularly at the good folks at TURNTABLELAB, who have shown love for us from day 1! I still have to get used ot the whole Blog thing, but I know I am making Beyonder happy for this one..

Big shout to Beyonder who is off to L.A for a few days with a few of the folks from KARMALOOP, my main man Steve 'The RaZor' for the nice re design of our website, the homie Chris Delvin for a nice banging mix!(the RaZor did some last minute edits for this), Ray Allen for coming thru with that 3 pointer when it was mos def needed...that ones for you Eso;)...Kamra for an always bang up job on the art, and my man Will C for Lacing me with an o.g version of Marley Marl's 'No Bullshit' over the "I'm Your Puppet" beat..great stuff...'My B-E-A-T is N-E-A-T'...great stuff! Providence release party.

Rocked Providence last weekend for the Esoteric VS Tokyo release party. Show was dope and a lot of fans came out and repped hard, but...who the fuck booked the opening acts cause we sure didn't!!! Now I'm not saying Eso is Jigga or anything, but 7LES has been doing their thing long enough and putting out enough dope material to have some one better than some bed room rap group and some bitch ass rap/rock/funk/world music band whose lead singers most memorable attribute is some brown neck beads that look like the joints that you get coming off the plane to Hawaii. I'm just sayin though. Also, what the deal with Provi being like Mad Max and the Thunder Dome when the clubs get out. On our way back to our car, we saw huge brawls, some girl hitting a cop, and police pepper spraying the shit out of people!! Crow City KIIIID!!! Big shout to Big Truth, Will C, Gem Crates, and the Providence police for not hurting me.

So in light of just djing a bunch the past few months, I had little time, or rather, interst in 'blogging'....truth be told I think it's a bit gay, but at the same time what can you do, I was going to tell tales of how annoyed I can get in one night DJing, between C Level Cougars at Saint telling me to play some 'new shit' or petite M.I.T girls,one wearing Eazy E T Shirt telling me to play something she can feel at The E Room, all that just might make me sound old and bitter...which I think I am...but I will take this time to post a little mix I did...

Playing "Lollipop" in the club. No. It Gets Old After a minute and everyone gets bored. That song blows anyway...

Heidi Montag on the cover of Rolling Stone. YES. She is probably the worst person in the world, however...lets just say.. YES...although Whitney trumps them all...

Grown Men requesting Usher "Love in this CLub"...NO..really,NO.. I have had at least 10+ instances in the past few weeks of some dude rolling up to the booth giving me that look like, 'yo, you gonna rock that 'Lets Make Love in this Club' joint right!?!?...it's like, really guys, your requesting slow jams on your big night out...

The Roots "Get Busy"...YES..Eso put me up on this, sent me a YouTube link and was just floored...
