Warm It Up Kane BLADERUNNERS Style...

More treats!! Nothing to crazy tho, just a simple spliced up version we did of Big Daddy Kane's classic B Side, or SUISIDE, "Warm it Up Kane" from his second record,It's a Big Daddy Thing...while Kane's first album is probably one of my favorites, his sophomore LP def solidified him as one of the 'most valuble poets on the m-i-c'....Marley didn't do really anything on here, one track I can think of off the top of my head and the bonus cut "Lean on Me" so I was a but bummed about that, Biz,Shan and everyone else slowly were either doing beats themselves or using other producers, and being a Juice Crew fanatic I wasn't really feelin' it, ALTHOUGH, G Rap came through with Wanted:Dead or Alive, one of my top 5 favorite albums off all time, which had one Marley track, that if anything was a song that should have been on Road to the Riches, "Rikers Island"..it was released way back in '87 as an single with "Rhyme Tyme" as the B Side....Kane followed this album with Taste of Chocolate, then Prince of Darkness..and kinda never regained his initial genius....he did drop that Alchemist produced single on ALC, with the Blaxploitation Cover Artwork that was fucking heat..I can't think of the title off hand and my records are boxed up..I think even MR Cee is doing the cuts on it too.. but Kane, still putting in work, still doing the dances live, droppin' down while Scoob Lover pulls him up by the back of his shirt, he just did a show at BB Kings celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Long Live the Kane...
